It's that time of year again....

So the wedding season is getting a bit less frenzied and here at VandV our minds turn to Crimbo!!
We are of course doing a annual wreath making workshops along with some new additions to the timetable. Check out the website for details www.violetsandvelvet.co.uk
We are also lucky enough to be dressing a few venues locally with our garlands, wreaths and all round loveliness.
Earlier on the year we did a gorgeous little Christmas shoot at the barn with the talented Kate from www.vintagestylehire.com and the ever so lovely Claire Naylor www.clairenaylorphotography.co.uk
The results are quite lovely and should give you a bit of inspiration for your Christmas table. A lot of the pretty bits are  available from www.vintagestyleliving.co.uk a new venture for Kate.
Enjoy!

Autumn workshops

This year we are doing more workshops than ever up at Hammer Hill Barn. With the arrival of Laura from www.lovelittlecakes.co.uk and Kate's www.vintagestylehire.co.uk gorgeous new studio/shop opening soon, we are between us offering lots of really fun workshops.
The season is kicking off with the return of the Violets and Velvet and Vintage Style Hire styling workshop. We had a great write up in the fabulous Mollie Makes magazine http://www.molliemakes.com/ last month so we are really looking forward to hosting another one on October 2nd. Learn lots of tips on how to make your wedding /event really unique, enjoy a tasty lunch and go home with your own hand tied and a goody bag! What more could you ask for!!
We have also just released the full timetable for floristry workshops up until December. Some old favorites like wreath making along with lots of new workshops, Christmas table centres, create your own wedding flowers and an introduction to floristry for starters.
Please let me know if you'd like any more details.
