January. A time to reflect on the achievements of last year? Yes. But it's also time to blog some of the stunning weddings from 2014 starting with this one. Alice and Grant. Not only do they have great taste they are really good friends of mine so it was always going to be one of my favorites of the year.
Saffron coloured peonies, Sally Lacock dress, gorgeous bride and groom on a tractor and a vintage merry- go-round. Blimey. You just can't go wrong!
Stunning photographs, of course, by another good friend Rebecca Prigmore www.rebeccaprigmorephotography.com

A very special wedding.

I'm probably totally biased, but my brother and sister-in-laws wedding last October was the best I've been to.
It happened on the sunniest of October days in the heart of the Cotswolds at Cripps barn, Bibury. http://www.crippsbarn.com The whole day was picture perfect and this stylish day was captured by the very talented Nick Tucker. http://www.nicktuckerphotography.com
I created the flowers for this special day, which was such a pleasure. To see the happiness on the brides face when you give them their bouquet is rewarding at the best of times, but when it's family it's truly wonderful.
The flowers used give the feeling of autumn without using the obvious. The contrast of these hues with the blue sky and autumn leaves looked fab in the flesh and in the photos. It also helps that the happy couple are quite easy on the eye!!
We ate smoked local trout, slow roast lamb and crumble washed down with (lots of) red wine!! It was the best of times and I'm happy to share these lovely images with you.
